Elk Ridge on the Lake

We loved the room but they had Febreeze plug-ins and I could not breath so we put them in the cupboard opened windows and tried to air out.

Greetings I hope this google review finds you well! We recently stayed at the lake lodge for about a week. The rooms, the views and being so close to town put this spot at the top if you are looking to stay in Waskesiu. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the place. But what I think puts Waskesiu Lake Lodge on the platinum level compared to the rest is the Staff! From the moment we checked in, I could tell they were a very friendly group, after about 10 minuted of meeting them I felt like I had met some new friends. I have never been on first name basis with a hotel staff before but it made my stay so much better. Kim, who was so great about getting us Paddle Boards and setting our golf booking, and who always greeted me in the morning with a smile on her face or a laugh at the roughness of my morning appearance. Spring, who was always smiling, willing to help and who really went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable. Bob, Bev and the rest, who always had a helpful suggestion if we were looking for something to do about town. We really had such a good time and are looking forward to coming back hopefully very soon! Take care! PS. we're missing Freddy and Tibby a whole lot!

I've been staying at this lodge every summer since 2019 and will probably be back again next year. This was the first stay since Elk Ridge bought it, and the stay was as good as always. My only complaint would be that they removed the individual BBQ's in favour of a couple communal BBQ's on the ground floor. All in all not a deal breaker for staying here again.

We booked a stay here with our extended family of 10 for a big anniversary event, and it was truly memorable. The cabin we booked was everything we hoped for—and spacious enough to comfortably fit all of us. The scenery was simply breathtaking and we felt completely immersed in nature. Our young nephew loved the pool and water slide in the main building , and us adults couldn’t get enough of the nature walks and scenery. It was the perfect blend of comfort and wilderness. We can’t wait to return and experience it all over again. Also - Loved the front desk staff. They went out of their way to make sure our group was comfortable.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and renovated, very comfortable. Easy access to the lake and shops too! We rented the paddle board which the kids enjoyed. We had a great time at the park! Thank you!

Stayed there several times. Clean, large rooms. Great service from staff. My room had great view of the lake. Very affordable. Nothing fancy, but not run down. I will stay there again.

I didn't stay at this resort but I have been on the phone with Erin (not sure of the spelling) and she has been so helpful. We ended up going somewhere else because it could fit the number of people we had but she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with getting quotes to me and keeping in contact with me. If we had a smaller group we would have stayed here!

They accomadated our late evening check in, rooms are homey and spacious. Nice balcony and barbecue at our disposal. 2 min and you're lakeside. Great location in town. I'd stay there again !!
